My best friend

As soon as Chad walked in the door tonight I fell apart. He listened to me sob about my responsibilities, my weight, my worries, my goals. He encouraged me and complimented me. He listened to me and validated me. He found ways to lighten my load. He took care of me. Then he sent me off to take care of myself.

I often find myself wondering at how I ever made it with out him. He does so much for me and my life is infinitely better and happier with him in it.

Ah, women are so hard on themselves. Be gentle with yourself, Elisa. You are doing a dang fine job raising those kidlets. And I’m so glad Chad is such a supportive husband. My hubby listens to be cry and validates me, too. I really love marriage, because I feel like, if one of us is floundering, the other of us is strong, and vice versa. It’s so much better than fighting through life alone.

what’s all the stress about? you do realize you have a child under the age of one… you’re still eligible for a whole host of problems and excuses for reactions to said problems! relax and know you’ll have a friend in me very soon!
