Catch-up

I am feeling MUCH better, I am still taking medication but I imagine I’ll be just fine with out it in a matter of a couple weeks. Now that I am feeling a bit better all the projects and to-do items we have are becoming more prominent. We still need to finalize plans for our trip to Israel, Jordan and perhaps Egypt for next Saturday. We need to find tickets for our month long working visit to the states at the end of April. I need to put together a list of baby things to buy while we are in the states. Mostly I need to get organized overall since so much has been placed on the back-burner over the last couple months.

The last couple weeks have gone by very quickly. Other than Google work, Chad has spent a lot of his time working on a new back-up system for our growing photo site as well as transferring our existing files to a new location and changing the general set-up. I do not know how it does it all. I have been working on our travel plans for our cruise this summer and have finished up another class for school. Life is getting much easier and more enjoyable. The crowning moment since our last post, was that we got a great deal on a new flat screen monitor. It is so beautiful and makes our old monitor look like a monster. Hooray!!

We are going to end my house bound 1st trimester with a whirlwind visit to Dallas this weekend for Nick Adamson’s wedding. I am a little nervous about how I’ll do, but mostly I am just freaked out because I have to give myself a shot in the legs before each flight. Creepy. We are really looking forward to seeing the guys Chad grew up with and meeting the ladies in their lives.

I’m glad to hear things are going better, Elisa! I’ve been thinking alot about you lately because…..guess who else is P______! It’s a race and you are weening!!

Anyway, your stories make me a little nervous. I haven’t had the same difficult time as you but I’m only a little bit p______ (5 weeks). I wish you guys were here to go shopping with and share stories over dinner! Good luck on the flight! I have one down to Texas (coincidence?) in April and I hope I’m not too sick by then.

CONGRATULATIONS again! –C

Wow, you guys are so lucky to be able to travel so much. Sigh.. Someday… We’re pretty much homebound. Who knew architects don’t make peanuts??

What does your husband do for Google? Lewis is trying to get a job with them and it’s a tough nut to crack! 🙂 Any ideas? Recommendations? PS CONGRATS on your baby! Well, soon to be baby! I am SO excited for you! My mom said your mom was bragging about it (in a very I’m-going-to-be-a-gradmother kind of way) in church. So exciting! You are fabulous!

Natalie, we have your contact info somewhere. When we’re back home I’ll email you. I can send your husband’s resume through the system as a referral, and at least that will guarantee that a human sees it.

Karlenn, we have had a really lucky year. I hope you start having lots more free time (and feeling-well time). That makes all the difference, doesn’t it?
