Alden is now a walker. He prefers a slow waddle to his speed-racer all-fours. I am so glad that I have a couple weeks to relish his slower pace before he is running all the time. This new locomotive development has also sprouted a curiosity of all things feet. He LOVES to put on his shoes. He’ll hold his little feet out nice and still so we can put them on for him. Eden’s sandals and Mama’s platform heels are favorites as well.

Eden has started this crazy new behavior. She likes to roll around on the floor and pretend like she can’t stop without help. I guess sometimes she forgets that she is the one controlling her body.
When we were at Lake Powell the adults were playing a game and Eden was playing late into the night near us. She decided to spin around in circles until she got dizzy. Possessed by her apparent exhaustion she started pleading for help to stop and then she started crying! The girl seriously believed she couldn’t stop. (Except I thought that she was crying because she wanted us to play along and we weren’t). It was sadly very funny.
